From a Single Shophouse to the Premium Sausage Brand TGM
1963
establishment
Thai Sausages, Two Pigs Brand, began with a small family of 4 people (Grandfather, Grandmother, Father, and Mother) in a shophouse in the Sathorn Tai area. The Grandfather, as the "Head Foreman" from a foreign factory, joined forces with the pork grinder assistant (Father) to build the sausage business with heart and their own two hands.
1972
Expand operations into a factory
The business gradually grew from selling a few kilograms a day to expanding the factory to Sathu Pradit Road.
1993
Growth and Joint Venture
The company established a new factory on more than 5 rai of land in the Welgrow Industrial Estate, Chachoengsao Province, under the name Thai-German Meat Product Co., Ltd. Another significant milestone was meeting Mr. Rolf Schäfer, a German owner of a sausage shop in Germany, who willingly decided to pass on the art of sausage making to this family without expecting anything in return. This led to a joint venture with Schäfer Fleischwaren GmbH of Mannheim in 1993 and the birth of the slogan "Premium Taste, Original German."
1995
Continuing the legacy into a new era
Khun Chanthana, the second-generation heir, started by driving around the country selling sausages, gaining hands-on experience. She then established Thai Success Marketing Co., Ltd. and expanded the business into department stores, creating marketing innovations such as offering sliced sausages for customers to taste before deciding to buy.
Frequent travels abroad allowed Khun Aoi to see the opportunity to create a new brand offering premium sausages, which no one in Thailand was doing at that time.
The TGM (Thai-German Meat Product) brand was thus born to offer high-quality sausages made from the best ingredients and processes, all under the support of Mr. Schaefer.
